Background

The music video for «TiK ToK» was directed by Syndrome. It was shot in Ke$ha’s old neighborhood and the car featured in the video belongs to her. Ke$ha explained the experience saying, «the video I’m excited about because I actually got to shoot it in my old neighborhood and the guy driving my gold car is a friend of mine». The video’s party scene was shot in her friend’s house, which they refer to as the «drunk tank». The singer said «the last party scene is in this house called the drunk tank, which is one of my friend’s houses that we all go party at. So I like it cause its super-honest and genuine.»

Scene 1

The video starts with shots of Ke$ha sleeping in a bathtub, in a house that’s not hers, and intercut with those of a party.

Shots of her making her way downstairs are intercut with those of her leaning against a yellow building. The family is stunned that a random girl is in their house and the mother drops a plate of pancakes on the floor. With a shrug, Ke$ha makes her way out of the house.

Scene 3

The family follows her out of the house only for her to pick up a bike lying on the sidewalk and riding it away. She drives for a few seconds before she sees a small group of children listening to a boombox. She trades them the bike for the boombox and makes her way to a building see in previous shots. She listens to music until she is interrupted by a guy who is flirting with her. Shortly after her turning him down, a man (portrayed by Simon Rex) in a car pulls up. While at first she appears disgusted by his appearance, she leaves the boombox and hops in the passenger side of the car and they leave..

Scene 4

They are then seen driving while Ke$ha flirts with him. They are shortly pulled over by cops. Ke$ha is seen being bent over the car and cuffed.

Scenes of the pair driving again with one side of the handcuffs still cuffed to Ke$ha while she dances are intercut with scenes of Ke$ha back at the yellow building.

They make their way to the same party shown at the beginning of the video. She dances with her friends while glitter is falling on everyone. She then sits on a couch with Rex and another man (portrayed by Lukasz Gottwald) while Rex hugs her.

Почему Тик Ток запретил выкладывать видео в России?

В начале марта 2022 года, а именно 7 числа, Тик Ток частично был заблокирован для России. Заходить в приложение и просматривать уже добавленные видеоролики можно, но вот загрузить свой контент не получается. Это стало большим шоком и неприятностью для многих, но больше всего это затронуло блогеров, которые выкладывали ролики, вели блог в Тик Токе и зарабатывали деньги. То же самое обстоит и с прямыми эфирами. Жители Российской Федерации не могут выходить в прямой эфир и вести его.

В тот день пользователи, которые открывали программу на своем устройстве, увидели уведомление в центре экрана со словами о том, что сервис частично ограничил функции для данного региона. Поэтому, временно не удастся публиковать видеоконтент, а также вести прямые эфиры. Помимо этого было указано, что они сразу же сообщат, как функции снова станут доступны, а также принесли извинения за сбои в работе Тик Тока.

Новые изменения в работе многих сервисов, которые, в том числе затронули и Тик Ток, связаны с последними событиями в стране. Еще ранее, 4 марта 2022 года президентом Российской Федерации был подписан закон “О фейках”. Сделано это для того, что на сервисе жители России не распространяли фейковые видео о происходящих событиях.

Что говорят представители Тик Ток по этому поводу? Они объясняют, что безопасность их сотрудников и пользователей им важна и остается главным приоритетом. Поэтому, после появления закона о фейковых новостях, им пришлось приостановить загрузку видеоконтента и ведение прямых эфиров для жителей России. На данный момент они занимаются изучением последствий нового закона в вопросах безопасности.

Сами же пользователи Тик Тока в России заметили, что у них перестали отображаться любые прямые эфиры иностранного сегмента, а при попытке найти их через поиск, в результате выдает, что такого контента еще нет.

Американская певица совсем недавно выпустила трейлер нового автобиографического документального фильма, который называется «My Crazy Beautiful Life». В этой картине можно будет узнать о подробностях личной жизни, о путешествиях и о начале творческой деятельности Кеши. Как известно, в фильме будет затронута тема любви. The look developed from her being poor and trying to brand herself as best she could on a budget. She has named Keith Richards as her fashion inspiration. The Guardian called her «the degenerate Hannah Montana» and stated that «her whole shtick appears to be predicated on the idea that she’s a rebel in American Apparel.» Her stage makeup is characterized by dramatic makeup at her right eye, inspired by A Clockwork Orange, and body glitter. Kesha came in at number fifty-six on Maxim’s 2010 Hot 100 list of the «world’s most beautiful women».

Kesha primarily considers herself as a songwriter first and has wrote or co-wrote almost every song on all of her records. Her voice is described as a «strong, sneering vibrato», along with a distinct yodel-like quality to her voice. Her yodeling can be heard in «TiK ToK» and «Cannibal». Kesha also uses a trademark talky «white-girl» rapping style with exaggerated discordant phrasing and enunciation. Her vocal technique has led her to be credited as a rapper, a topic she disagreed with until fellow rappers André 3000, Wiz Khalifa, and Snoop Dogg endorsed her.

Having previously done country, pop rock, and electro, she had a clear idea of the synth-pop sound that she wanted for her debut album. The genre was popular at the time, with many of her peers releasing similar output as well. «Party at a Rich Dude’s House» and «C U Next Tuesday» have 1980s derived backing, while «Stephen» begins with «Kansas-style vocal harmonies». Animal included heavy processed vocals with auto-tune, which lead questions on Kesha’s vocal talents. The singer has expressed confidence in her abilities and showed some vocal talent on ballads such as «Animal» and «Hungover».

Warrior used considerably less autotune, although it still showed in a number of songs. The album’s piano and guitar-driven ballads such as «Love into the Light», «Wonderland» and «Past Lives» display Kesha’s vocal ability. Much more experimental than Animal, Warrior contains dubstep elements and explores erotic experiences Kesha encountered with ghosts on the song «Supernatural». Overall, Kesha said the theme of Warrior is magic. The album was largely influenced by rock music, despite being rooted in technopop. Rock icons The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop, and Alice Cooper have collaborated with Kesha, endorsing her as a rock singer.

Rainbow displayed a significant departure from the electropop sound from Kesha’s previous two albums. The album contained elements of glam-rock, country-pop, and pop-rock. Its lyrical themes range from letting go of the past, finding forgiveness within oneself for past mistakes, self-worth, and female empowerment. For her fourth album, High Road, Kesha chose to return to her electro-pop roots. She decided to blend her party-girl image and her more optimistic and sentimental approach on her previous album to make them coexist in her personality.

Most of her lyrics chronicle her relationships and partying; the lighthearted subject matter of the latter and her unfiltered language saw many critics criticizing her for releasing frivolous and crass music. In «Blah Blah Blah» and «Boots & Boys», she objectifies men to poke fun at how male fronted rock bands and rappers can get away with objectifying women and not vice versa.

«TiK ToK» was written by Ke$ha, alongside Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco and was co-produced by Luke and Blanco. Ke$ha said the inspiration behind the song came from coming home half-drunk and stumbling after a night out of partying.
